  • Last year alone, students received more than $168 billion in financial aid – including grants, loans, work-study programs, and tax credits.
  • We want to help your financial aid search, too. After you request information about a college or university, you can apply for the eLearners.com $4,000 “Take the Next Step” scholarship.

TYPES OF FINANCIAL AID

  • Grants: Grants typically come from state or federal sources. The Pell Grant, for example, is awarded to low income students and covers more than $5,000 per year. Grants never need to be repaid.
  • Scholarships: Like grants, scholarships do not have to be repaid and usually come from private groups, corporations, or colleges.
  • Loans: You can borrow money from the federal government, from the school you attend, or from a bank. Loans need to be repaid after you graduate from college.
  • Tuition Reimbursement: Most large companies offer some form of tuition reimbursement. If you work for a company that employs more than 100 people, there’s a good chance you can apply for college funds through your employer.
  • Military Programs: The U.S. military offers many options for college aid – including Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC), Service members Opportunity Colleges (SOC), and comprehensive Veterans benefits, like the G.I. Bill.

HOW DO I APPLY?
