Online courses replicate campus classrooms by involving students in the learning process. However, in the virtual classroom, faculty members can present lectures, course materials, and tests on any personal computer with internet access. You will interact with other students and the instructor through online messaging and discussion groups.
How Online Classes Work at Bryant & Stratton
All Bryant & Stratton courses are delivered via Internet-based software called ANGEL. This popular software is widely recognized and used in many distance learning programs. You will not need to download anything because ANGEL can be accessed via the Bryant & Stratton Website.
You will be equipped with messaging tools, discussion area access, coursework, announcements and testing. Courses are never "live" so there is no need to be on the computer at any given time. You work when you choose—day or night, weekends or weekdays. ANGEL is always ready when you are.
Accreditation
Accreditation is the educational community's means of self-regulation through quality assurance and improvement. The accreditation process is intended to strengthen and sustain the quality and integrity of higher education.
Bryant & Stratton's 15 campuses, Professional Skills Center and online education division are accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), 3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104 (267-284-5000). The MSCHE is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
State Approvals
The Parma, Eastlake, and Downtown Cleveland campuses in Ohio are authorized to confer associate and baccalaureate degrees by the Ohio Board of Regents.
In New York State, Bryant & Stratton College campuses are authorized by the New York State Board of Regents to confer the degree of Associate in Occupational Studies. The Amherst campus is authorized by the New York State Board of Regents to confer the Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Documents describing the particular Campus' Accreditation are available for review in the office of the Campus Director.
