Ellis University's Faculty
Obtain Your College Education Online From Experienced Faculty
Ellis University continues its focus on quality by maintaining strict guidelines on the selection, support and development of our instructional staff. Although most instructors have online teaching experience, they still complete training and are involved in continuing education to hone their skills and adapt them to create an exceptional online experience for our students.
All Ellis University instructors hold a Ph.D. or Masters Degree in their subject matter, and nearly half of all teaching faculty hold a Doctorate or other terminal degree.
Several elements are utilized to connect Ellis students to their instructors to allow for greater and more frequent communication and availability. Instructors are required to log on at least six days per week to answer questions and participate in student discussions. Our online environment also provides both a space for one-on-one instructor assistance as well as an area for instructor-led chats in real time to promote class discussion and student inclusion.
Ellis monitors our instructors through student and peer assessments. Therefore, we can not only ensure that their instruction and practices meet our high standards but also that they fulfill the needs of our students.
