About The Chicago School

The Chicago School of Professional Psychology is an independent, nonprofit graduate school that has provided outstanding education in a student-centered environment for nearly 30 years. The school is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA).

At The Chicago School, we are dedicated to keeping pace with the ever-growing application of the discipline of psychology to real-world environments. With an emphasis on practical applications, we strive to impart the knowledge and skills so integral to the changing health, organizational, forensic, and human development needs of our society.

As such, our Programs includes a synchronous "virtual residency" component — a one or two-hour session (each term) in which all students are expected to be online simultaneously.

We provide Chicago School students with the resources and learning they need to enter and thrive in their chosen areas of practice and communities. To become a successful professional and leader, real-world experience is necessary in addition to academic preparation and field placement training.
