How do online classes work at Harrison College?
Online classes at Harrison College operate using WebCT. It's a self-contained classroom you may access from any computer that is connected to the Internet. Once enrolled, you'll receive log in information. Using your assigned user name and password, you will have access to details about your instructor, textbook, syllabus, class schedule, and grading policy, as well as week-by-week lecture materials and assignments. You will also be able to communicate with your instructors and classmates within the course itself using private mail and a special discussion area. We even provide an online "mini-course" for first-time online students which you can take prior to the start of the quarter.
Many assignments are built into the course in the form of open-book quizzes that you complete electronically and your scores are ready to view from your student profile as soon as grading is completed by the instructor. Instructions and review information for your midterm and final exams are also easily accessible. There is even a calendar feature that you may use to help keep track of assignment due dates and other personal activities in your busy schedule. Class sizes are kept at 35 students or less.
Are all Harrison College online programs taken completely online?

How long will it take me to complete my online degree program?
Harrison College Online holds classes according to a "quarter system." Each quarter lasts three months (12 weeks) and there are four quarters in a school year. You can go to school year round until you complete your program or take classes part-time. It's completely your choice how many classes you want to take and how quickly you want to complete your degree! We want you to be comfortable, and we want you to be successful!
