Unlike a student loan, the Kaplan University's new Academic Achievement Scholarship is merit-based, with all of the funds students receive applied directly towards their tuition costs. This scholarship can reduce undergraduate tuition by 20 percent†† for qualified Kaplan University students for each term they are eligible to receive the award.

The Academic Achievement Scholarship is available to eligible undergraduate students and may be combined with outside scholarships and/or financial aid. Eligible degree programs include accounting, arts and sciences, business, criminal justice, health sciences, IT, legal studies, and the Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Our Commitment to Military Service Members

Kaplan University provides special support services for our military students, including a flexible deployment policy and consideration of military training experience and prior coursework for college credit.* The undergraduate tuition rate has been reduced up to 55 percent per quarter credit hour for active-duty servicemembers and reservists. For veterans, undergraduate tuition is reduced up to 38 percent per quarter credit hour. Kaplan University also offers reduced tuition rates on graduate programs and for military spouses. Kaplan University participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program and is a member of the Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges Consortium (SOC).

College of Arts and Sciences

Introducing the Kaplan Commitment -- your opportunity to experience a Kaplan University education firsthand for 5-weeks with no tuition obligation. You enroll in actual, for-credit courses. If you choose not to continue after the trial period, all you'll owe is a $45.00 application fee. Classes will count toward a student's degree if satisfactorily completed. No credits are earned if the student withdraws during the introductory period.  The introductory period is five weeks and begins day one of the student's first academic term. If at any point during the introductory period a student chooses to opt out, he or she will have no other obligation to the University except for the application fee. School of Criminal Justice

As our nation's population grows, the need for police professionals may have to keep pace. Along with that expansion, the concern for homeland security is also likely to increase.

Kaplan University's School of Criminal Justice offers aspiring and current professionals a choice of degree programs on the associate's, bachelor's, and master's levels, plus a variety of professional certificates.
