We're Faith-Based

Liberty is the world's largest Christian university and offers a religious resource in our Liberty Online Ministries. We want you and your family to become all that God intended you to be. Access our Christian community online for resources, guidance, prayer, and support.

We're an Accredited Institution

Liberty University is regionally accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS-COC) to award degrees at associate, baccalaureate, master, education specialist, and doctoral levels.

As a regionally-accredited institution, Liberty University is eligible to participate in federal educational programs such as military tuition assistance, government tuition reimbursement programs, the GI Bill, and corporate tuition assistance. Credits and degrees earned through Liberty are therefore recognized by private industry and by the military and federal government for promotion, assignment and position qualification standards.

Taking courses online doesn't mean you're alone. Before your first class, Liberty works with you to assess your prior knowledge and skills levels to ensure that you'll be signed up for the courses you need. Whether you're new to online learning, or a seasoned veteran of distance education, you'll participate in an 8-week “Introduction to Online Learning” class to help you learn how to confidently use our discussion boards, interact with professors and classmates, take tests, and more.

Want to develop and improve your academic skills? Another benefit to being a Liberty student is accessing the Liberty University Bruckner Learning Center (BLC). The BLC has a number of resources to help you in areas such as reading comprehension, study skills, reading speed, time management, and many more relevant topics.

Doing research? Liberty's online library offers an extensive list of journals, electronic books, and digital texts available to you 24 hours a day. You can enjoy online convenience and complete your academic research from anywhere.
