Receive credit for work experience
Midway College awards credit for measurable, verifiable learning acquired through life or work experiences, not for the experience itself. The learning must be determined to be college-level, having a balance, appropriate to the subject between theory and practical application. Learning may consist of knowledge and/or skills and can come from a variety of sources, including work experiences, community service, workshops, and military service.
Prior learning may be demonstrated through several options, including:
- CLEP or DANTES exams
- Verification of workshops or training taken for credit
- Portfolio Assessment
