The University's commitment to academic excellence, moral purpose and professional development is evident in the success of our 140,000 alumni, who continue to reflect the value of a St. John's education.

You Come First at St. John's

As online students you will have the flexibility to complete college courses from home, at work, or even while you travel. Our full-time online degree students will receive an IBM laptop and access to a range of student services including financial aid management, technical support, library resources, career guidance, counseling resources, online tutoring, campus ministry information, and much more.

Earn Your Degree at Your Pace

St. John's can evaluate transfer credits, credits by testing (AP, CLEP) and life experience credits from eligible students. You may attend full- (12 or more credits per semester), or part-time during the spring, summer, and fall.

  • If you have no prior college credits, it can take two to four years to complete an associate degree—and would require taking two to four courses each semester.
  • If you hold an associate degree and would like to obtain a bachelor's degree, it can take two to four years enrolled in two to four courses each semester.
