Tidewater Community College Launches New Online Music Industry Program!

Tidewater Community College (TCC) is now offering online music industry programs. As the business of music continues to move online, TCC is taking a leadership role in educating the next generation of music industry professionals. TCC’s music industry faculty include award winning songwriters, audio engineers, producers, managers, artists, publishers, entertainment attorneys, and music business entrepreneurs from across the country.

In today’s trillion-dollar global entertainment economy, there are a staggering variety of career paths for students to choose from, including: music production/engineering, publishing, management, record labels, distribution, TV, film, radio, live performance theater, industrial film audio production, ad agencies, special events, and much. As the 6th largest employer in the U.S, the music and entertainment industry offers students the option to peruse over 400 unique job titles. TCC now offers five (5) national recognized certification programs in music industry including:

Tuition Assistance Benefits at TCC

All online music industry programs are 100 percent funded by Military Tuition Assistance (TA) and Veterans Affairs. In addition, civilians may apply for tuition reimbursement, Workforce Development, and Sallie Mae career student loans.
