Ameritech College of Healthcare's Associate of Applied Science Nursing program has been granted programmatic accreditation from the Accrediting Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc. (ACEN) formerly (NLNAC).
DENTAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN - Graduates of the program are prepared for the crown and bridge and ceramics portion of the Recognized Graduate (RG) test offered by the National Board for Certification (NBC) of the National Association of Dental Laboratories. After three years of on-the-job experience, the RG may sit for a specialty written exam and take the NBC practical exam. A passing grade on these two exams earns RGs the Certified Dental Technician (CDT) credential.
The registered nurse education (AAS) program provides students with the opportunity to learn through theory and practical applications how to be professional nurse leaders in caring for patients, families, and communities. Students prepare for a career in nursing through lecture, laboratory, and clinical experiences. Additionally, the nursing program offered at AmeriTech College utilizes a complex human patient simulator to enhance clinical and critical thinking skills. Students are also take general education courses that supplement and enhance the nursing courses. AmeriTech College has been granted Accreditation from the Accrediting Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc. (ACEN, formerly NLNAC).
