Animal Behavior College is a private vocational school approved under California Education Code Sections 94915 and Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations. This approval indicates that Animal Behavior College has been visited and reviewed pursuant to state standards, and that the curricula is consistent in quality with the curricula offered by traditional institutions.
The Animal Behavior College (ABC) Dog Obedience Instructor Program is designed to offer students the convenience of an in-home study program with the priceless component of hands-on training with a professional dog trainer. Learn while you work! This format allows the student to tailor their education around their busy schedules. ABC's comprehensive curriculum is 11 stages long and encompasses over 800 pages of academic and theoretical knowledge about dog behavior and training. Once the student has successfully completed the in-home study portion of the program, ABC will set the student up with a professional dog trainer in their area where they will complete their hands-on externship.
Tuition for the program ranges from $3,365 to $5,165 depending on payment arrangements. ABC's comprehensive curriculum is 11 stages long. This program includes a free 40+ piece professional-grade grooming tool kit valued at $1,200, to help you start your new career as a Professional Groomer. The first stages of the curriculum give you a strong foundation with detailed step-by-step instructions on how to properly handle and groom pets.
Once a strong foundation has been established, you will be given authorization to work one-on-one with an ABC approved Professional Groomer. Once in your externship, you will be given the opportunity to utilize everything you have learned during your in-home study and apply it in a real-life working environment.
Tuition for the ABC Certified Grooming Instruction Program ranges from $3,995 to $5,995 depending on the payment arrangements made at the time of your enrollment. This fee covers ALL materials required for completion of the program. That means you receive the in-home study portion as well as the hands-on training with an approved ABC grooming facility and your grooming tools all for one flat fee. ABC also offers job placement assistance and helps graduates market their business after they have completed the program.
The Animal Behavior College Veterinary Assistant Training Program is designed for anyone wishing to pursue a successful career as a Certified Veterinary Assistant. The program offers you the convenience and cost of a home-study program with the added benefit of working one-on-one with veterinary professionals in hospital and clinical settings. ABC's comprehensive curriculum is extensive, consisting of 11 stages of highly detail-oriented educational material. The first stages of the curriculum will teach you all the required responsibilities and duties commonly designated to the veterinary assistant.
ABC will set you up for your externship in a veterinary clinic or hospital where you will apply all that you learned at home in an actual working environment. Throughout this stage of the program, you will be working with veterinarians, veterinary technicians and other veterinary assistants as you apply all of the knowledge you have acquired during the in-home study portion of the program in a real-life professional environment. Tuition for the ABC Veterinary Assistant Training Program ranges from $3,195 to $5,095 depending on payment arrangements made at the time of your enrollment. The tuition fee covers absolutely everything that is needed to become a Certified Veterinary Assistant. You will receive the in-home study portion of the program as well as the unique hands-on veterinary training.
