BS - Emergency Management

Advance your career in the fast-growing field of emergency management. This undergraduate specialization provides an overview of public safety research, theory, and principles within an emergency management framework. The curriculum focuses on such topics as emergency planning and decision-making, homeland security, disaster response and recovery, and hazard identification and mitigation. A capstone project provides the opportunity to apply and demonstrate emergency management skills gained during the program.

With your Bachelor's in Emergency Management from Capella, you'll learn how to think critically in issues related to emergency management, manage emergency operations and understand external factors influencing emergency management situations.
