This program is CCNE-accredited and is designed to provide licensed registered nurses with the knowledge, skills, and decision-making proficiencies needed in today’s complex healthcare environment. Successful graduates of this program often pursue this degree to meet the growing demand of bachelor’s-prepared nurses. With this program, you will learn how to: Conduct comprehensive and focused assessments of health and illness parameters; Incorporate patient safety, clinical management and quality improvement to impact patient outcomes; Expand your knowledge of health promotion and disease prevention, multicultural wellness strategies and pharmacology and patient safety; Understand patient care technology, collaborative nursing group processes, leadership and management as well as policy, law, ethics and regulations in professional nursing practice; Effectively communicate with the health care team.
