DHA - Health Administration

Strengthen your management and leadership capabilities with this online DHA Health Administration specialization designed to provide a broad, generalist perspective in health administration, including health care business practices and finance. The nationally recognized NCHL Health Leadership Competency Model — which is integrated into Capella's DHA programs — features a real-world, action-oriented approach: team-centered activities, problem-based cases and exercises, simulation exercises, consulting projects, presentations and more. In this program, you can choose to focus on such topics as U.S. or global health policy, health care advocacy, leadership, and strategic vision and planning. An assessment at the beginning of your program helps you focus on skills you can strengthen or build on to improve your success as a health care administrator.

With your DHA in Health Information from Capella, you'll facilitate organizational transformation and change processes in health care. You'll also implement strategic planning and health care administration strategies for optimal organizational performance, and support vision and ethical leadership decision making in health care administration.
