DHA - Health Care Leadership

Advance your knowledge of leadership theories, concepts and techniques to produce positive and innovative organizational outcomes, meet organizational goals and objectives, and support top organizational performance. The nationally recognized NCHL Health Leadership Competency Model — which is integrated into Capella's DHA programs — features a real-world, action-oriented approach: team-centered activities, problem-based cases and exercises, simulation exercises, consulting projects, presentations and more. This Health Care Leadership specialization focuses on such topics as contemporary leadership roles, strategic vision and planning, and evidence-based leadership in health care, in addition to core courses covering advanced health administration concepts and practices. An assessment at the beginning of your program helps you focus on skills you can strengthen or build on to improve your success as a health care administrator.
