Master of Public Health - Health Policy and Administration

Master of Public Health: You'll develop perspectives on how to improve public health and eliminate health disparities.  Students build competency in biostatistics, epidemiology, health behavior, environmental health, policy management and research in a rigorous curriculum delivered by accomplished faculty.

The Master of Public Health with a concentration in Policy and Administration will allow you to take a broad perspective to improve public health by developing the knowledge, ability and skills in leadership, management techniques, and health care organization and structure to influence public health policy.  In the Health Policy and Administration specialization, you’ll gain a macro perspective of public health through an interdisciplinary program of behavioral science, policy, budgeting and human resources.

The online Master of Public Health (MPH) and the online Master of Human Services (MHS) is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

RequirementsUndergraduate G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher. Students must submit and application and transcripts for review prior to full admission by the graduate college. Depending upon the student's education and experience, there may be pre-requisites for admission.
On Campus RequirementThe Global Health course, which is part of the Community Health Education concentration, is an on-campus course, but it is not required for the program; it is only an elective.
