Graduate Certificate in Mathematics Learning and Teaching

The Certificate of Graduate Study in Mathematics Learning and Teaching provides students with the disposition, skills and breadth of expertise needed to implement problem-based, student-centered, technology-intensive instruction. The certificate consists of five 3-credit courses preparing teachers for further study and development in cutting-edge mathematics learning and teaching. Certificate students take courses alongside MS students, and are encouraged to matriculate into the MS program.

RequirementsBachelor's degree from accredited institution, undergrad GPA of 3.0 or higher (grad GPAs will be considered along with the undergrad GPA), proof of certification for teaching at middle or high school level.
On Campus RequirementThe majority of online degrees and certificates offered by Drexel are available entirely online. A few programs do have an on-campus requirement.
