Master in Education - Classroom Management

Our 30 hour, online Masters of Education focuses on best practices of effective classroom management in the context of a responsive approach to instruction. Program topics, learning experiences, and outcomes are based on the Quality Schools concepts of Dr. William Glasser, the classroom management strategies of Jonathan Erwin and the differentiated instruction approaches of Dr. Carol Ann Tomlinson. The program includes preventative strategies to minimize classroom and behavior management problems and remedial strategies to deal effectively with discipline incidents. Program participants will increase their knowledge in establishing productive classroom climates, applying management techniques, and fostering student learning and behavioral accountability.
