Master of Arts in History

The Master of Arts in History online program at Norwich University gives you the opportunity to embark on a pivotal educational voyage into the past. This thought-provoking degree program allows you to analyze, discuss, and debate the key historical moments, events, and people that helped to shape the current world in which we live.

You begin by examining the concepts of historiography, information literacy, research methods, and the evolution of historical thought and interpretation. You then use these concepts and skills to explore either American or World History. Rather than completing a simple survey of historical occurrences, our online program challenges you to use evidence to support new interpretations of significant events.

Designed for working professionals who want to advance their careers, as well as for motivated lifelong learners, our Master of Arts in History online program offers you a choice of two tracks – American History and World History.

There's no time like the present to help define your future with a Master of Arts in History from Norwich University. Build your knowledge of history at an institution that has been making significant history of its own since 1819.
