Bachelor of Science in Economics

The Bachelor of Science in Economics program is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills needed to apply both micro- and macro- economic concepts to management decisions. Through liberal arts coursework, students will develop communication, critical-thinking, and quantitative-reasoning competencies and strengthen their understanding of how political, cultural, and societal factors shape our world. The economics and business courses provide a foundation in economic theory and policies that are useful in making resource allocations within a firm, understanding and navigating the increasingly complex world economy, and conducting economic research.
