The UC HIM program provides a unique path for RHITs to obtain their BS in HIM in as few as six terms. This program has been tailor-made for RHITs and is designed to be manageable within the lifestyle of busy working students. The accelerated curriculum helps to prepare students for the next level in health information management. All course content is delivered through a combination of lectures, readings, discussions, online assignments, and peer and professional support systems.
A 2010 AHIMA salary study shows that a certified RHIA will earn between $9,000 and $16,000 more annually thank an RHIT. This CAHIIM-accredited degree program is the next step for RHIT’s wishing to prepare for the RHIA certification.
The nationally recognized faculty is committed to preparing and educating future leaders in the Health Information Management field.
