Master of Science in Nursing - Adult-Gero Clinical Nurse Specialist

The Adult-Gero Clinical Nurse Specialist is a multifaceted role focusing on patient/family, nurse/nursing practice, and organization/system. The UC AGCNS program prepares nurses to become expert clinicians in specific areas of specialization, such as adult health/gerontology, or critical care. This program is ideal for the nurse seeks to be the expert in their clinical field, a peer mentor, and influence organizational processes and decisions. The AGCNS program can be completed in as few as 2 years, and graduates are eligible to sit for certification.

AccreditationThe University of Cincinnati College of Nursing is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Graduates are eligible to sit for the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification exam.
RequirementsMust hold a current RN license and have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree conferred from a regionally and nursing (NLNAC or CCNE) accredited institution.
