Master of Arts in Education - Art Teacher

The master’s degree program with an Art Teacher concentration is a 36-credit hour online degree program designed primarily for Art teachers, although it can be an appropriate degree for other professions such as museum educators. This degree does not grant certification to teach art in K-12 schools. Through the many course options available, students are able to select courses that address their own interests or needs. A research paper on an art education topic is the final project.  To apply, students must hold a Bachelor’s degree in art education or visual arts.

For an out-of-state online student, graduate tuition is $418.00 per credit hour. For a resident of Nebraska, graduate tuition is $269.00 per credit hour (2012-13 rates).  Fees are additional.
