Master of Science in Education - Science/Math Education

The Science/Math Education degree is a 36 credit hour program designed for Science and Math teachers in Grades 7 through 12 who are interested in becoming better teachers. Students may choose their 12 credit hour major emphases from either Biology, Chemistry, Math or Physical Science/Physics. All coursework is available online and includes both content and pedagogy.

For an out-of-state online student, graduate tuition begins at $393.00 per credit hour. For a resident of Nebraska, graduate tuition is $269.00 per credit hour (2012-13 rates).  Fees are additional.

AccreditationAll programs are fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music. UNK is also accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools and by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.
RequirementsBachelor's Degree with an endorsement in Biology, Math, Chemistry, Physics or Physical Science with a Teaching Certificate.
