Continuing Education for Educators

Earn the continuing education credits you need for potential recertification, endorsements or professional growth in the most efficient and convenient way possible-via the Internet. These courses are graduate level and based on semester hours.

With University of Phoenix continuing teacher education courses, you can complete 100 percent of your education via the Internet. All interaction is conducted through electronic forums, so you can participate any time you want, day or night. You will be required to participate at least four days a week, but you choose the days. You go online to retrieve course materials, questions and assignments from your instructor then review this material at your convenience.

This program is not currently available in the following states: AL, AR, KY, MN

University of Phoenix was placed on Notice by The Higher Learning Commission, effective June 27, 2013. Notice is a Commission sanction indicating that an institution is pursuing a course of action that, if continued, could lead it to be out of compliance with one or more Criteria for Accreditation. An institution on Notice remains accredited. At the end of the Notice period, The Higher Learning Commission Board of Trustees may remove the sanction, place the institution on Probation if the identified concerns have not been addressed, or take other action.
