Individual Courses - Credit

University of Phoenix offers numerous associate's, bachelor's and master's courses that can be taken individually in a wide variety of subjects. Whether you're looking to transfer to another educational institution, grow your knowledge professionally or personally, you'll likely find one or more courses that will suit your needs. Our individual courses are also a great introduction to our unique student experience.

You'll earn college-level credit for these individual courses, which may be transferable to a degree at University of Phoenix-or elsewhere. If you plan to transfer credits to a degree program, please be sure to confirm credit is accepted at your educational institution.

Individual courses are many of the same ones offered in our degree programs, and are presented in two formats:

  • Associate's courses are conducted online for nine weeks and are highly structured. If you've been out of school for a while, or are new to college or online learning, you might consider this format.
  • Bachelor's and Master's courses are offered online or at a local campus and typically last five to six weeks.

AccreditationUniversity of Phoenix is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (http://hlcommission.org). For more information about University of Phoenix accreditations and licensures, please visit http://www.phoenix.edu/about_us/accreditation.html
