Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Child Development - Preschool

Position yourself to enter or advance in the growing child development field with Walden’s B.S. in Child Development. Learn to create age-appropriate environments where can children learn, play, and grow. Study the stages of child development, effective assessment strategies, and professional standards and ethics. Choose from a range of specializations that prepare you to manage child care centers or programs, advocate for specific age groups, or work with children and their families in a variety of settings. Courses in this program take into consideration standards established by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
RequirementsStudents must have some college credits and be at least 21 years old.
