Whether you have your sights set on a promotion or are settling into a new managerial role, Transitioning to Sales Management at the University of San Francisco will help you successfully make the leap from team member to team leader. The course will focus on three core competencies – managing processes, managing people and managing a sales culture – and teach you how to use them to your best advantage. You will learn proven techniques and tools for new sales managers, change management strategies, four different behavior styles and how to manage each one, effective listening skills, interviewing tactics and how to leverage the interview process, keepers and sleepers: methods for identifying A/B/C players, how to motivate through sales meetings/training/one-on-ones, and characteristics of great coaches: top 10 behaviors. During this course, you’ll learn how to: parlay your sales skills into a coach/mentor role; effectively communicate in both one-on-one and group settings; build and develop a winning sales team; and create a sales culture that breeds success. |
