General Physics is an algebra-based college course in general physics. It is the first course in a two-course sequence that covers all the basic areas of physics. This course covers mechanics, thermodynamics, vibrations, and waves. High school teachers can take this course as PHYS 424 under special arrangement with the instructor. You will be required to complete the online work, final exam, and a term paper. This online version of the course is not open to UNC-Chapel Hill students. This course does not include the lab component which can be taken during a later semester if the student is admitted to UNC-Chapel Hill. |
