Advanced Negotiations builds aggressively upon the foundations presented in Negotiation Essentials. This course focuses on influencing and negotiating effectively in the face of complicated situations. You will learn how changes in the negotiation context, impacts the negotiation process and learn optimal tactics and strategies for working one-on-one and groups. You will explore communication strategies that enable you to work more effectively with multiple groups and across cultures. Key topics covered in this in-depth 8-week course include: working and managing teams, especially when in competitive situations, Improving influence skills, working one-on-one and in groups, impact of personality and culture on behaviors and strategies, verbal and non-verbal processes for building relationships and communicating power, working effectively at a distance, whether using agents or media, ethics and deception, and how to plan for and address unethical behaviors.
