Immerse yourself in the Artist Teacher experience. Boston University's Online Master of Arts in Art Education degree is designed to shape the Artist Teacher, an individual with a passion for personal artistic growth dedicated to enriching the lives of children through a relationship with art. Our online and optional summer studio curriculum offers serious artistic and educational development that provides students with strategies and techniques for imparting the creative process and knowledge of art in the classroom, while building pathways for career advancement. Enjoy hands-on faculty teaching during the on-campus studio session. This accelerated program is designed for working professionals to graduate from a leading institution with a long history of educating artists and teachers. This program has six starts per year and takes 32 credits to complete. Each course is 7 weeks. It is possible to complete the degree within 18 months and entrance does not require a GRE exam.
