Master of Science in Computer Information Systems - IT Project Management

The Concentration in IT Project Management provides you with in-depth understanding of and hands-on experience with the latest technologies, and challenges you to apply your knowledge to real world projects. You'll learn the general concepts embodied in the Project Management Institute's PMBOK and virtual project management skills that enhance the ability to manage geographically distributed software development. Students will be prepared for careers such as; project manager, systems analyst, designer, programmer, research manager, IT consultant, or administrator of technical projects while also gaining specialized techniques in software risk management, software cost estimation, and software quality management.
