The Information Management and Security program is a comprehensive Bachelor of Science Degree program designed to provide students with a solid foundation in information technology and security. Students will acquire a thorough understanding of the essential concepts, theories, principles and applications of information technology, as well as acquiring advanced knowledge of Linux applications, Security essentials, Help Desk support and MSCA core practices, principles and procedures of networking concepts, office applications, computer hardware and software, and desktop operating systems. They will also be exposed to the unique challenges of the IT business world and become skilled in customer service essentials.
Credit-earning Options:
Transfer credits from accredited institutions accepted on a case by case basis (student must submit official transcripts for review by Education Department for prior earned credits)
Geographic Restrictions:
No set geographical restrictions; however all courses are taught in English, all students must have a mailing address where they can receive textbooks via UPS and only US citizens are eligible to apply for Title IV F.A. funding.
On-Campus Requirement:
No on-campus requirement. All programs offered are 100% online.
Scholarships Offered:
All students are assigned a Financial Aid Advisor to assist them in their F.A. and student loan applications and/or to develop a feasible payment plan. Students are encouraged to research scholarship opportunities and look into other funding sources.
Loans Offered:
Grants and loans are available to those students who qualify. Students may apply by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). FAFSA Code: 016095
