Associate of Occupational Science in Radiography (Advanced Placement Track)

The Advanced Placement Track Radiography program at Pima Medical Institute is accredited and is delivered via online classes using an Internet-based interactive learning management system. As a student of the program, you will be presented with information in anatomy and physiology, methods of patient care, medical terminology, radiographic techniques and communication. Graduates of the Pima Medical Institute Advanced Placement Track Radiography program receive an Associate of Occupational Science degree and are eligible to apply to sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification exam.

The program is created for students who possess prior radiography education. Students meeting the admission criteria are granted 44.5 transfer credits for previous academic course work (9.0 credits) and clinical experience (35.5 credits).
