Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice Administration
Do you perk up when you encounter a mystery? Do you have a passion for seeing justice served? Are you enthralled with learning about the structure of our law system? If so, consider a degree in criminal justice administration or forensic science. The CJA program at Columbia College integrates the general study of criminal justice and law with other relevant disciplines. You’ll explore ethics and morality, cultural diversity, criminology, and other subject areas, while gaining invaluable experience through internships and other practicum. If processing crime scene evidence, understanding DNA and delving into other scientific reports to solve crimes is more your thing, take the path toward a bachelor’s degree in forensic science. With classes in such fields as biology, physics, chemistry, criminal justice and law, you will be prepared for one of the most intriguing, fastest-growing professions. Plus, Columbia College has a working relationship with the city police department, so students are even able to try their hand at cold cases, and have in the past made headlines for solving them!
