Bachelor of General Studies Columbia College

Bachelor of General Studies

If you want to choose a unique path, a general studies degree might be for you.  This degree can serve as a prerequisite for a professional career or as a stepping stone to a college degree in another discipline. You'll develop a basic knowledge of liberal arts and sciences and then move on to choose from courses across the curriculum, such as business and computer science, education, history, criminal justice and political science.  With such a broadly based degree, you will demonstrate employers and peers that you are well-rounded and have the self-discipline and intellect to work in a variety of areas.
