Ph.D. in Public Health
The Ph.D. in Public Health program focuses on seeking solutions to significant public health problems and applying and integrating new knowledge into public health research and practice settings. The curriculum is focused on community health, including medical, social, political, ethical and economic factors that contribute to an overall well-being of a public health system and to the community it serves. The program emphasizes the development and demonstration of strong research skills--skills that will help students pursue professional careers in academia or service to public and private governmental and non-governmental organizations.
