Degree Title:
Master of Science in Information Assurance
College:
Norwich University
Description:

Norwich University's Master of Science in Information Assurance program allows information security professionals to integrate their technical competencies with business management skills. A comprehensive core curriculum and an individual case study project equip graduates with the skills to manage and lead an organization-wide information security program. Our unique seminar system presents highly integrated material at a functional area, rather than in separate, concurrent course segments. In addition to the core curriculum you will also be able to delve further into specific subject areas through concentration courses. Since 2002, Norwich University has been designated by the National Security Agency as a Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education.

Managing Cyber Forensic & Digital Incidents - The Managing Cyber Crime and Digital Incidents concentration offers students a dual perspective on computer security and cyber forensics. You will first study computer security incident response management and learn how to create a response team that meets an organization's needs. In the second part of this concentration you will examine cyber forensic investigations, enhancing your investigative skills and strengthen your ability to analyze and report on investigative outcomes.

Business Continuity Management - The Business Continuity Management concentration teaches you how to develop a resilient organization. You will gain knowledge of emergency preparation and disaster response as well as the management and leadership skills needed to affect organizational change and develop risk management processes across your enterprise. You will acquire the skills to manage a business continuity program from organizational analysis and plan development to implementation and response.
