Bachelor's (BIT) - Network Administration
AIU Online's Bachelor of Information Technology, with a concentration in Network Adminstration is an accelerated degree completion program that can be completed online with great flexibility. The main objectives of the BIT Network Adminstration degree are to prepare students to identify various hardware components and network topologies and describe protocols at the different layers of the OSI model. Other areas of focus for this degree are:
- Study programs that relate to database connectivity
- Learn methods to troubleshoot and fix network problems
- Create and implement a local area network
- Configure and test network components for operations
Student's will also discuss how to implement, manage and maintain network configuration and explain how to set up and manage users and resources. This program will help to identify and troubleshoot symptoms network problems and explain security concepts for various types of networks.
