Degree Title:
M.S. in Education - Educational Leadership (Non-Licensure) (Grades K–12)
College:
Walden University
Description:

This specialization will help you gain the skills, knowledge, and experience to lead students, teachers, and schools to greater achievement—and will provide you with the opportunity to help shape the future of education. However, the curriculum is not approved to lead to licensure/certification as a principal or assistant principal except through a collaborative partnership between Walden University and the Harris County Department of Education in Texas known as the Principal Certification Academy.

The curriculum for the M.S. in Education, with a specialization in Educational Leadership, reflects the standards for leadership education developed by the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium and the National Policy Board for Educational Administration. This program, grounded in research and evidence of best practice, defines what education professionals need to know and be able to do, at the most practical level, to enhance learning opportunities and outcomes for all students.
