The Behavioral Science degree program is designed to prepare students for a wide variety of careers in clinical, social, educational, industrial, and law enforcement environments. In addition to a broad range of elective courses across diverse topics, students choose one of three concentration areas of study: Criminal Justice, Psychology, or Sociology.

The concentration in Sociology teaches students how to identify and analyze the social structures, patterns, and problems in American society with an eye toward how they affect today's cultural and organizational settings. Courses include Introduction to Sociological Theory, Anthropology, Communications and Interviewing Techniques, Marriage and the Family, Criminology and more. Students must complete 125 credits to obtain this degree.
