The AIU Online Master of Education degree program provides a solid foundation for effective educational practice and career advancement for all levels of educational practitioners, including K-12, higher education and corporate learning. Students develop a solid foundation in learning theory, instructional design and application of educational research methods.
M.Ed. students pursuing the concentration in Curriculum and Instruction will learn to design and implement assessments of student performance, provide feedback to students to enhance learning and utilize appropriate techniques to motivate and engage learners.
Also covered is the use of multiple instructional strategies to present content, in order to address differences in students' learning styles and abilities. Graduates will have acquired knowledge necessary to develop curricula to satisfy organizational, federal, state or other standards and objectives.
Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited school. *Not all programs are available to residents of all states. Admissions staff will advise prospective students of any specific limitations for their states.
