The UC HIM program provides a unique path for RHITs to obtain their BS in HIM in just 2 ¼ years. This program has been tailor-made for working RHITs who don't want to be bogged down with countless electives in their efforts to obtain a Bachelor's degree. The accelerated curriculum—made possible by an advanced network of support—prepares students to truly excel in the field. Ninety-eight percent all of our graduates who take their RHIA certification pass the exam.

The online Health Information Management program is designed to be manageable within the lifestyle of busy working students. All course content is delivered through a combination of lectures, readings, discussions, online assignments, and peer and professional support systems.

A 2008 AHIMA salary study shows that a certified RHIA will earn between $9,000 and $16,000 more annually. This CAHIIM-accredited degree program will prepare you to take the RHIA certification with a cutting-edge curriculum based on real-world application.
