The AGS program is an excellent choice for the person who would like to return to earn his or her college degree. To earn an Associate of General Studies degree, you will only need to complete 60 credit hours. The degree allows for 12 hours of free electives and 12 hours in your area of concentration. By entering the AGS program, you will be able to set and meet short-term educational goals. After earning your Associate of General Studies degree, you can easily elect to go on to complete a four-year degree. Through the program, you gain critical-thinking, problem-solving, math and communication skills that are needed to move ahead in your current job or to prepare for a new and different career.
