The Doctor of Business Administration (D.B.A.) serves as preparation for advanced positions of leadership in business, government, philanthropy, and policy and advocacy organizations. D.B.A. learners gain the skills to advance to top leadership positions and to retain them through rigorous reflection on their professional experiences, in-depth exposure to the insights offered by the world's leading organizations, review of classic and cutting edge theory and research, and mastery of methods and techniques to identify, understand, apply, and communicate strategically critical knowledge. As stewards of the discipline of Business Administration, D.B.A. learners focus upon the communication and application of knowledge in Business Administration. The electronic commerce specialization is designed for learners who want to become proficient in conducting business on the Internet and/or the World Wide Web. Online marketing, web-based applications, enabling methodologies and tools for online payment and transactions are included in the curriculum.
