The electronic digital computer has contributed to revolutionary changes in the methodologies of business and governmental data processing, the control of manufacturing operations, and the scope and nature of research in scientific and technological areas. It is the objective of this program to create computer scientists whose skills are consistent with today's demand for graduates with hardware and software expertise in areas such as computer graphics, distributed information system, or internet engineering.

Students choose between concentrations in Internet Engineering or Distributed Database Systems. The Internet Engineering concentration concentration include Internet Programming Languages, Web Site Engineering, Introduction to Computer Networks, Distributed Database Systems and more. Students must complete 121 credits to obtain this degree.
