Upper Iowa University's Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree program will prepare you to meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving and increasingly computer-dependent business environment. Special emphasis is placed on the organizational, analytical and professional skills required for success in this major business area.
This program builds on the foundation of the business core to enable the learner to understand accounting theory and its applications in the areas of financial, tax, not-for-profit and managerial accounting and in the practice of auditing. Course highlights include Federal Taxation, Auditing, Financial Accounting, and a Senior Project. Graduates of this program are well prepared to deal with individuals, groups, ideas and technology.
