College:
Lesley University
Description:
Today’s students were born into the age of technology. Lesley University’s 33-credit M.Ed. in Technology in Education program provides K-12 educators with the knowledge and skills to create a technology-rich environment that sparks each student’s imagination and inspires creativity and original work. In addition, teachers increase their own productivity with timesaving techniques, effectively track student progress, and optimize communication capabilities. Courses include: Computers, Technology and Education; The World Wide Web as an Educational Resource; Designing Curriculum that Integrates Technology; Teaching and Learning with Digital Media; Emerging Technologies and many more. Students progress through the program at their own pace, taking one or two 12 week courses at a time. With Lesley's Technology in Education online there is no residency requirement. This allows students to take their classes from wherever they live in the world, providing they have a reliable Internet connection. The courses are primarily asynchronous, so time zones and personal schedules do not interfere with class participation.
