Learn the management principles you need to succeed in any industry! UMUC's Bachelors in Management Studies provides the foundation for a thriving career in government, for-profit and non-profit sectors as well as provide you with knowledge critical to a wide spectrum of management activities. Students learn to use a multidisciplinary approach in researching organizational problems, issues, and opportunities. Another key focus within this program shows students how to analyze information, solve problems, and make decisions from a holistic, global perspective.

This degree will allow students to understand important management concepts and theories from several disciplines as well as assess important trends in international ventures, marketing, financing, and human resource management. This program requires the successful completion of 120 credits of coursework, including 36 credits for the major; 41 credits in general education requirements; and 43 credits in the minor, electives, and other degree requirements. At least 18 credits in the major must be earned in upper-level courses (numbered 300 or above).
